NCI-H226 is a human cancer cell line derived from Pleural effusion and associated with Pleural epithelioid mesothelioma and Pleural mesothelioma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. NCI-H226 is used as an in vitro model of Pleural epithelioid mesothelioma and Pleural mesothelioma to investigate p53 signaling and cell-cycle control.
