NCI-H929 is a human Plasma cell-derived cancer cell line derived from Pleural effusion and associated with Plasma cell myeloma and Multiple myeloma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. NCI-H929 is used as an in vitro model of Plasma cell myeloma and Multiple myeloma to investigate p53 signaling, drug resistance, and viral infection.
