Definition:
OST is a human cancer cell line derived from Uterus, cervix and associated with Human papillomavirus-related endocervical adenocarcinoma. OST is immortalized or transformed by Human papillomavirus type 18 (HPV18). OST is used as an in vitro model of Human papillomavirus-related endocervical adenocarcinoma to investigate ferroptosis, cell proliferation, cell-cycle control, and gene-expression regulation.
