Definition:
RBL-2H3 is a rat Basophil-derived cancer cell line derived from Peripheral blood and associated with Rat leukemia. RBL-2H3 is immortalized or transformed by Beta-chloro-N-isopropyl-2-naphthaleneethanamine hydrochloride (ICI 42464). RBL-2H3 is used as an in vitro model of Rat leukemia to investigate apoptosis and oxidative stress.
