Definition:

RCC4/VHL is a human cancer cell line derived from Kidney and associated with Clear cell renal cell carcinoma and Clear cell renal carcinoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. RCC4/VHL is used as an in vitro model of Clear cell renal cell carcinoma and Clear cell renal carcinoma to investigate tumor-cell growth, cell survival, and pharmacological response.
