Definition:

RF/6A is a macaque spontaneously immortalized cell line derived from Fetal eye, choroid. Its spontaneous immortalization permits extended propagation while retaining lineage-associated properties. RF/6A is used to investigate ERK signaling, JAK-STAT signaling, STAT3 signaling, cell proliferation, cell migration, and angiogenesis in a controlled cellular system.
