RPMI-2650 is a human cancer cell line derived from Pleural effusion and associated with Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and NUT carcinoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. RPMI-2650 is used as an in vitro model of Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and NUT carcinoma to investigate epithelial barrier function.
