Definition:

RPMI 8402 is a human T-cell-derived cancer cell line derived from Peripheral blood and associated with Childhood T acute lymphoblastic leukemia and Precursor T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. RPMI 8402 is used as an in vitro model of Childhood T acute lymphoblastic leukemia and Precursor T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia to investigate NF-κB signaling, apoptosis, and gene-expression regulation.
