RPTEC is a human Epithelial cell of proximal tubule telomerase immortalized cell line derived from Kidney, proximal tubule. Its stable in vitro growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. RPTEC is used to investigate oxidative stress and cytotoxicity in a controlled cellular system.
