STING ER exit protein

Definition:

Stimulates membrane curvature formation and subsequent endoplasmic reticulum exit site (ERES) establishment by recruiting PI3K complex I, leading to COPII vesicle-mediated transport. Promotes endoplasmic reticulum (ER) exit of cGAMP-activated STING1 oligomers.
