Definition:
DEL is a human cancer cell line derived from Pleural effusion and associated with Anaplastic large cell lymphoma, ALK-positive and ALK-positive anaplastic large cell lymphoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. DEL is used as an in vitro model of Anaplastic large cell lymphoma, ALK-positive and ALK-positive anaplastic large cell lymphoma to investigate MAPK signaling, p53 signaling, apoptosis, and DNA-damage responses.
