Description

SR-B-182 is a SARS-CoV-2 main protease (M_Pro) inhibitor with an IC₅₀ of 0.015 μM. SR-B-182 can be used for the research of COVID-19^[1].

In Vitro

SR-B-182 acts via a covalent mechanism based on nucleophilic aromatic substitution (SNAr), forming a covalent adduct with Cys145 at the catalytic site of MPro without causing steric hindrance conflict with the aa187-189 loop of MPro.^[1]
