Biological Activity: cis-Martynoside is a phenylpropanoid glycoside. Cis-Martynoside, in a mixture with trans-Martynoside, effectively inhibits the early activation of the lytic cycle of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and reduces the expression of Rta protein. cis-Martynoside can be used in research on EBV infection[1].
