PD166326 blocks Bcr/Abl kinase activity. PD166326 inhibits Bcr/Abl-dependent proliferation and cell cycle progression. PD166326 reduces peripheral blood granulocytosis, alleviates splenomegaly and prolongs survival in a mouse model of chronic myeloid leukemia.
