Biological Activity: 1-Myristoyl-3-chloropropanediol is a 3-monochloropropanediol (3-MCPD) fatty acid ester. 3-MPCD causes nephropathy and tubular hyperplasia and adenomas by chronic oral administration; also reduces fertility, or provokes infertility in rats and suppresses the immune function[1].
