Biological Activity:
MSP-1 P2 is a synthetic peptide of merozoite surface protein-1 (MSP-1). MSP-1 P2 stimulates umbilical cord blood lymphocytes to produce IFN-γ and IL-13, and this immune response is primarily mediated by CD4+ T cells. MSP-1 P2 can be used as a specific antigen stimulus to detect T cell responses and cytokine levels[1].
