Biological Activity: Antioxidant agent-24 (compound 10) is a phenolic antioxidant found in the leaves of Pyrus ussuriensis Maxim. Antioxidant agent-24 scavenges DPPH free radicals with a IC50 of 18.50 μg/mL. Antioxidant agent-24 exhibits antioxidant activity in intracellular ROS detection assays using DCFH-DA. Antioxidant agent-24 can be used in studies related to free radical scavenging, oxidative stress, and antioxidant activity of natural products[1].
