Definition:
NCM460 is a human Epithelial cell of colon spontaneously immortalized cell line derived from Colon, mucosa. Its spontaneous immortalization permits extended propagation while retaining lineage-associated properties. NCM460 is used to investigate ERK signaling, p53 signaling, apoptosis, endoplasmic-reticulum organization, receptor signaling and trafficking, and cytotoxicity in a controlled cellular system.
