T4-BSA is an antigen-adjuvant conjugate of T4 (HY-18341) conjugated to bovine serum albumin (BSA). T4-BSA can be immobilized on a solid-phase carrier, thereby enabling specific binding to free T4 antibodies or their variable regions. T4-BSA can be used for biopanning and ELISA experiments of anti-T4 antibodies.

In Vitro

T4-BSA (10 μg/mL; 30 min-overnight) functions in the biopanning system to capture T4-specific antibody fragments (Fab) from a phage display library, and two clones, D11 and F11, are screened and obtained as T4-specific binders^[1].
T4-BSA (1 μg/mL; overnight) specifically binds to T4 phage antibodies, with IC₅₀ values of 5.3 ng/mL and 12.8 ng/mL for binding to D11 and F11, respectively^[1].
T4-BSA (1 μg/mL; overnight) is not recognized by anti-TBBPA VHH T3-15 or VHH-AP fusion in ELISA binding assays^[3].
T4-BSA (0.02-2.00 μg/well) supports only low binding of mAb 1, 9, and 62 in cell-free ELISA, 50-100 times lower than the hormonogenic sites of hTg^[4].
