Glycofurol can form gels with bioadhesiveness, spreadability and suitable viscosity for topical administration[1].

In Vitro

Glycofurol is an excellent carrier suitable for the percutaneous/transdermal local delivery of drugs, and the gel formulation optimized based on Glycofurol supports safe local drug delivery[1].
