Description

HCN2-IN-3 is an orally active HCN2 inhibitor. HCN2-IN-3 inhibits the activity of HCN2 ion channels. HCN2-IN-3 is applicable to research related to pain, tinnitus, central nervous system diseases, mental illnesses and mood disorders[1].

In Vitro

HCN2 modulator-1 (Compound 19) potently and selectively inhibits human HCN2 channels with an IC50 of 9 nM, and exhibits no significant activity against human HCN1 or HCN4 channels[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
