Aminozolamide (3%; topical ocular administration; single 50 μL instillation to one eye) reduces intraocular pressure in normotensive rabbits. Its metabolites exhibit equivalent potency, so this compound can persist in the eye to support long-term inhibition of carbonic anhydrase^[1].
