ADCYAP1R1 Protein, Human (HEK293, hFc)

The ADCYAP1R1 protein is a receptor for pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP) and recognizes PACAP-27 and PACAP-38. Through the G protein, this receptor activates adenylyl cyclase, initiating multiple downstream signaling pathways. ADCYAP1R1 Protein, Human (HEK293, hFc) is the recombinant human-derived ADCYAP1R1 protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-hFc labeled tag.

The ADCYAP1R1 protein functions as a receptor for pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP), specifically recognizing both PACAP-27 and PACAP-38. Operating through G proteins, this receptor activates adenylyl cyclase, initiating downstream signaling pathways. It is implicated in the regulation of various hormonal releases, including adrenocorticotropin, luteinizing hormone, growth hormone, prolactin, epinephrine, and catecholamine.
