Biological Activity

Description

USP1 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived USP1, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His labeled tag. ,

Background

USP1 is a negative regulator of DNA damage repair that specifically deubiquitinates monoubiquitinated FANCD2. It is also involved in PCNA-mediated translesion synthesis (TLS) by deubiquitinating monoubiquitinated PCNA. USP1 exhibits almost no deubiquitinating activity on its own and requires interaction with WDR48 for high activity. by similar: Its function is closely related to DNA repair and cell cycle regulation.

Verified Bioactivity

Measured by the hydrolysis of Ubiquitin-AMC that incubate at 37°C in kinetic mode for 5 minutes. The specific activity is >20 pmol/min/μg.

Product Properties

Appearance

Lyophilized powder.

Formulation

Lyophilized from a 0.22 μm filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4.

Endotoxin Level

<1 EU/μg, determined by LAL method.

Reconstitution

It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/mL in ddH2O. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS or 5% Trehalose).

Storage & Stability

Stored at -20°C for 2 years from date of receipt. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.

Shipping

Room temperature in continental US; may vary elsewhere.
