Human α-Thrombin (EC 3.4.21.5; Human Alpha Thrombin) (Lyophilized) is a terminal serine protease in the coagulation cascade, as well as a potent physiological platelet agonist and fibrin-generating enzyme in vivo. Human α-Thrombin catalyzes the conversion of fibrinogen to fibrin for blood clot formation, and activates platelet aggregation by cleaving the protease-activated receptors PAR1 (major) (Kd = 1 nM) and PAR4 (minor) on the platelet surface to expose tethered ligands. Human α-Thrombin also amplifies coagulation via positive feedback by activating coagulation factors V, VIII, XI (FV/FVIII/FXI), and switches to activate protein C to exert anticoagulant effects after binding to thrombomodulin .

Akt TGF-β Receptor

Phosphatidylserine (Phospholipids) is a well-conserved anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive signal. Phosphatidylserine is involved in membrane translocation and the activation of protein kinase C, participating in Akt signaling through its interaction with PIP3. The local exposure of Phosphatidylserine can interact with complement and other proteins, promoting microglial phagocytosis during critical periods of synaptic refinement. Phosphatidylserine can promote blood coagulation in the extracellular environment and acts as a "eat me" signal to clear out apoptotic cells. Phosphatidylserine can suppress inflammation in tissues by inducing TGF-β secretion and inhibiting immune responses .

Porcine Fibrinogen is a coagulation protein, purified from porcine plasma with no plasminogen contained. Porcine Fibrinogen has excellent biocompatibility and does not induce aggregation of porcine platelets when in contact with porcine hepatocytes, aortic endothelial cells or hepatic sinusoidal endothelial cells. Porcine Fibrinogen is widely used in studies on the pathological mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases such as atherosclerosis and the development of related drugs .

Fibrin is an insoluble protein found in blood that is produced in response to bleeding. As the main component of blood clots, fibrin functions in blood coagulation. Fibrin binds to the integrins ICAM-1, VE-cadherin, αIIbβ3, αMβ2, αvβ3 and α5β1. Fibrin is used in research related to chronic wounds .

Activated protein C is an anticoagulant targeting coagulation factors Va and VIIIa. Activated protein C demonstrates cytoprotective effects through binding to endothelial cell protein C receptor (EPCR) and protease-activated receptor-1 (PAR-1), regulating gene expression, anti-inflammation, anti-apoptosis, and stabilizing endothelial barriers. Activated protein C is promising for research of diseases such as severe sepsis and ischemic stroke .

Ala-parafluoroPhe-Arg-Cha-Cit-Tyr-NH2 TFA, a bioactive peptide, is a selective Protease activating receptor 1 (PAR-1) agonist over PAR-2. PAR-1 belongs to a subfamily of G-protein coupled receptors and is known to mediate the cellular effects of thrombin. In addition to its varied cellular effects of thrombin, PAR-1 has also been shown to coordinate with PAR-4 and regulate thrombin-induced hepatocellular carcinoma harboring thrombin formation within the tumor environment classified as 'coagulation type' .
