In Vitro	Product information This product is extracted from porcine plasma, with a protein content of ≥85% (biuret). It can hydrolyze fibrinogen and is used as a raw material for blood coagulation diagnostic reagents for detecting fibrinogen content, as well as a pharmaceutical raw material for treating gastrointestinal bleeding. Instructions Prepare a thrombin solution containing 100 U/mL with 0.1% (w/v) BSA solution. The enzyme activity of the stored solution can be retained for one week at 0-4°C. Thrombin, Pig blood is a key enzyme in the coagulation cascade, responsible for converting fibrinogen into fibrin. Thrombin, Pig blood activates platelet activation, endothelial cell function, and inflammatory responses by binding to PAR-1 and PAR-4, which triggers G protein-coupled signaling pathways. Thrombin, Pig blood holds promise for research in coagulation and inflammation fields^[2]^[3].
