HSA Protein exhibits antioxidant, anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory, anti-platelet aggregation activities as well as colloid osmotic action. HSA Protein can block the inhibitory effect of GML on human T cells, providing protective function for T cells. HSA Protein is also associated with cardiovascular diseases and can partially prevent the LPS (HY-D1056) induced oxidative stress, as well as the upregulation of NF-κB, NF-κB, and peroxynitrite (ONOO -) in the vascular wall, contributing to the reduction of blood pressure .

N-[3-(2-Furyl)acryloyl]-Phe-Gly-Gly (FAPGG) is a specific substrate of angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) with a Ki of 2.546×10 -4 M. It is used as a chromogenic probe for quantitative detection of ACE activity. N-[3-(2-Furyl)acryloyl]-Phe-Gly-Gly can be hydrolyzed by ACE to generate N-[3-(2-furyl)acryloyl]-Phe (FAP) and Gly-Gly, and the ACE inhibitory effect is monitored by photometry. FAPGG competitively binds to the active center of ACE and is a key tool for screening ACE inhibitors such as Captopril (HY-B0368) and Dioscorin. Its reversible mechanism of action supports hypertension research and drug development targeting the renin-angiotensin system .

NSC727447 is a vinyl urea-based allosteric inhibitor of HIV reverse transcriptase-associated RNase H with IC50 values of 2.0 μM and 2.5 μM against HIV-1 and HIV-2 RNase H, respectively, and IC50 values of 100 μM and 10.6 μM against Escherichia coli and human RNase H, respectively. NSC727447 exerts allosteric inhibitory effects mainly by interacting with the region adjacent to α-helix I in the thumb subdomain of the p51 subunit of HIV-1 reverse transcriptase. Cys280, Lys281 and the RNase H primer grip region are involved in its action, and it may inhibit the catalytic activity of RNase H by altering the positioning of nucleic acid substrates or the geometry of the RNase H active site. NSC727447 can be used in studies related to HIV infection, the function of HIV reverse transcriptase RNase H, and allosteric inhibition mechanisms .

Barucainide is an Ib-class anti-arrhythmic agent (moderately blocking sodium channel). Barucainide exhibits concentration-dependent inhibitory effects on the maximum upstroke velocity (Vmax) of Purkinje fibers and ventricular muscle in dogs. Barucainide significantly shortens the action potential duration (APD). Barucainide significantly inhibits the pacemaker activity frequency of atrial tissue in rabbits and the enhanced automaticity of Purkinje fibers under normal resting potential in response to isoproterenol. Barucainide cannot inhibit the abnormal automaticity emission frequency of canine Purkinje fibers induced by barium. Barucainide can be used for research on arrhythmias .
