Herbicide safener-3 is a compound that increases the selectivity of herbicides. Herbicide safener-3 is often used together with herbicides, particularly those that can be harmful to crops. Herbicide safener-3 reduces the negative effects of herbicide on the crop by regulating metabolic differences between the crop and the weed while still allowing the herbicide to be effective on the weed. Herbicide safener-3 can be used in research that improves herbicide application effectiveness and crop safety .

Deacetyldiltiazem is a metabolite with coronary vasodilator activity. Deacetyldiltiazem is present in the plasma of individuals taking Diltiazem. The deacetylase activity of deacetyldiltiazem is mainly catalyzed by the rat Ces2a enzyme. In vitro experiments of deacetyldiltiazem showed that its Km value was similar to that of rat liver microsomes, showing efficient deacetylase activity. The study of deacetyldiltiazem helps to understand the differences in the metabolic kinetics of compounds between different species .

6,759 compounds

Human metabolism is an integral part of cellular function that reflects individual differences in health, disease, diet, and lifestyle. Many health conditions such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and cancer are associated with abnormal metabolic states. In the pathological state of the human body, metabolic pathways are significantly altered, resulting in aberrant levels of intermediates or end-products that can be viewed as potential diagnostic biomarkers or even therapeutic targets. Therefore, detection, identification and quantification of human metabolites are very important for drug metabolism research in drug development.

MCE offers a unique collection of 6,759 human metabolites, including endogenous metabolites and exogenous metabolites, covering multiple structure types, such as lipids, amino acids, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, organic acids, biogenic amines, vitamins,. MCE Human Metabolites Library is a helpful tool for studying the relationship between diseases and metabolism.

14S(15R)-EET is an endogenous epoxytrienoic acid derivative that mainly exists in rat organs. By studying its metabolic process, it was found that its stereoselective hydration and formation of chiral diols were significantly affected by epoxidase. Different 14,15-EET enantiomers showed different regions and stereochemistry of hydration reactions, among which 14(R),15(S)-EET showed specific hydration for C15. These findings reveal the important role of epoxidase in the metabolism of endogenous EETs, and the differences in enzyme affinity and reaction rate for individual EET enantiomers may lead to their stereoselective metabolism .
