Biological Activity
1M Tris-HCl Buffer, pH 6.8 immediately neutralizes the high-pH eluate from monoclonal antibody affinity columns during purification of Hp 1-1, 2-1, and 2-2, preserving the proteins and resulting in crude fractions with 60-80% purity and 75-94% recovery[1].
1M Tris-HCl Buffer, pH 6.8 maintains the pH of dialyzed Bacillus pumilus UN-31-C-42 fermentation supernatant at 6.8 to support CM-Sepharose chromatography-based purification of DHAP, achieving a 1.39-fold increase in specific activity[2].
