Antimicrobial agent-52 is a broad-spectrum Bactericide. Antimicrobial agent-52 exerts rapid bactericidal effects against Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogenic bacteria. Antimicrobial agent-52 exhibits activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, and Escherichia coli. Antimicrobial agent-52 can be used in the research of bacterial infections.

Biological Activity
Antimicrobial agent-52 (Compound 4p) (0.01-25 μM; 24 h) potently inhibits the growth of Staphylococcus aureus (MIC = 0.88 μM), Klebsiella pneumoniae (MIC = 0.15 μM), Acinetobacter baumannii (MIC = 0.76 μM), and Escherichia coli (MIC = 0.02 μM) in vitro[1].
Antimicrobial agent-52 (24 h) exhibits bactericidal activity in vitro against Staphylococcus aureus (MBC = 1.56 μM), Klebsiella pneumoniae (MBC = 0.19 μM), Acinetobacter baumannii (MBC = 1.56 μM), and Escherichia coli (MBC = 0.04 μM)[1].
Antimicrobial agent-52 (6.25-200 μM; 24 h) exhibits a CC50 value of 42.27 μM in RAW 264.7 cells, 49.58 μM in J774A.1 cells, and 200 μM in HEK293 cells[1].
