Avocadyne
Avocadyne is an orally active mitochondrial fatty acid oxidation (FAO) inhibitor. Avocadyne induces leukemia cell death and reverses diet-induced obesity. Avocadyne inhibits fatty acid oxidation activity in leukemia cells. Avocadyne can be used in studies related to leukemia and obesity.

Avocadyne (72 h) potently reduces the viability of TEX and AML2 leukemia cells, with IC50 values of 3.10 μM and 11.53 μM, respectively[2].
Avocadyne (10 μM; 7-14 days) potently inhibits the clonogenic capacity of AML cells[2].
Avocadyne (10 μM; 3 h) inhibits fatty acid oxidation activity in TEX and AML2 leukemia cells[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
