Definition:
FTC-133 is a human cancer cell line derived from Thyroid gland and associated with Thyroid gland follicular carcinoma and Differentiated thyroid carcinoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. FTC-133 is used as an in vitro model of Thyroid gland follicular carcinoma and Differentiated thyroid carcinoma to investigate tumor-cell growth, cell survival, and pharmacological response.
