Definition:

LNCaP is a human cancer cell line derived from Left supraclavicular lymph node and associated with Prostate carcinoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. LNCaP is used as an in vitro model of Prostate carcinoma to investigate cell proliferation, cell migration, cell invasion, gene-expression regulation, angiogenesis, and drug resistance.
