MC-CAR is a human transformed cell line derived from Peripheral blood. MC-CAR is immortalized or transformed by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). MC-CAR is used to investigate apoptosis, cell proliferation, cell-cycle control, and gene-expression regulation in a controlled cellular system.
