Definition:

MEG-01 is a human cancer cell line derived from Bone marrow and associated with Blast phase chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive and Chronic myeloid leukemia. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. MEG-01 is used as an in vitro model of Blast phase chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive and Chronic myeloid leukemia to investigate mTOR signaling, apoptosis, cell proliferation, and endoplasmic-reticulum organization.
