Definition:

MT2 is a human Regulatory T-cell transformed cell line derived from Umbilical cord blood. MT2 is immortalized or transformed by Human T-lymphotropic virus 1 (HTLV-1). MT2 is used to investigate cell proliferation, cell migration, cell invasion, cell-cycle control, cellular metabolism, and receptor signaling and trafficking in a controlled cellular system.
