SCC-4
Definition:
SCC-4 is a human cancer cell line derived from Oral cavity, tongue and associated with Tongue squamous cell carcinoma and Squamous cell carcinoma of the oral tongue. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. SCC-4 is used as an in vitro model of Tongue squamous cell carcinoma and Squamous cell carcinoma of the oral tongue to investigate apoptosis.
