SiHa

Definition:

SiHa is a human cancer cell line derived from Uterus, cervix and associated with Human papillomavirus-related cervical squamous cell carcinoma and Squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix uteri. SiHa is immortalized or transformed by Human papillomavirus type 16 (HPV16). SiHa is used as an in vitro model of Human papillomavirus-related cervical squamous cell carcinoma and Squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix uteri to investigate β-catenin signaling, p53 signaling, apoptosis, cell proliferation, cell migration, and cell invasion.
