Definition:
SW756 is a human cancer cell line derived from Uterus, cervix and associated with Human papillomavirus-related cervical squamous cell carcinoma and Squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix uteri. SW756 is immortalized or transformed by Human papillomavirus type 18 (HPV18). SW756 is used as an in vitro model of Human papillomavirus-related cervical squamous cell carcinoma and Squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix uteri to investigate apoptosis, cell proliferation, cell migration, and receptor signaling and trafficking.
