SW982 is a human cancer cell line derived from Synovium and associated with Biphasic synovial sarcoma and Synovial sarcoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. SW982 is used as an in vitro model of Biphasic synovial sarcoma and Synovial sarcoma to investigate SMAD signaling, apoptosis, inflammatory signaling, and mitochondrial function.
