THLE-2 is a human Epithelial cell transformed cell line derived from Liver. THLE-2 is immortalized or transformed by Simian virus 40 (SV40). THLE-2 is used to investigate STAT3 signaling, apoptosis, oxidative stress, inflammatory signaling, and viral infection in a controlled cellular system.
