Biologische Aktivität
The structure of DMG-PEG-Galactose comprises three key components that work synergistically:
DMG: As a hydrophobic anchor, it is responsible for firmly embedding the entire molecule into the membrane structure of lipid nanoparticles.
PEG chain: As a hydrophilic spacer, it forms a hydration layer on the particle surface, reducing non-specific adsorption and immune system recognition and clearance, thus prolonging the carrier's circulation time in vivo.
BOC-NH2: Boc is removed under acidic conditions, exposing the highly reactive primary amine (-NH2). The primary amine can chemically react with specific groups (such as carboxyl groups, activated esters, etc.) on the surface of drug molecules, proteins, antibodies, or nanoparticles, thereby achieving drug loading.
