DXPS-IN-3
DXPS-IN-3 is a Herbicide. DXPS-IN-3 inhibits DXPS (Kd = 27.2 μM) and blocks the methylerythritol phosphate (MEP) pathway. DXPS-IN-3 induces plant bleaching and death via ROS accumulation, causing chlorophyll degradation and disrupting carotenoid biosynthesis. DXPS-IN-3 exhibits activity against Descurainia sophia and other dicot weeds, and can be used in research related to farmland weed control.

Activité biologique
DXPS-IN-3 (compound a-3) (375-750 g a.i./ha; 25 days after application) exhibits selective herbicidal activity against dicotyledonous plants. It shows an inhibition rate of 77.4% against Descurainia sophia L. at a dose of 750 g a.i./ha and 71.4% at 375 g a.i./ha, while it displays moderate activity against Brassica napus L. at both doses[1].
DXPS-IN-3 (active ingredient 750 g/ha; 5 days and 12 days post-treatment) causes the albino rate of Arabidopsis thaliana (Col-0) seedlings to reach approximately 40% at 5 days post-treatment, and leads to a mortality rate of approximately 100% at 12 days post-treatment[1].
DXPS-IN-3 binds to purified Arabidopsis DXPS protein with a dissociation constant (Kd) of 27.2 μM[1].
DXPS-IN-3 (active ingredient at 750 g/ha; 3-day treatment) increases the ROS concentration in Arabidopsis thaliana seedlings to ~180 ng/mL, enhances catalase activity in seedlings harvested 3 days post-treatment, and induces significant accumulation of glycerol-3-phosphate in Arabidopsis thaliana seedlings harvested 3 days post-treatment[1].
