Biological Activity: DXPS-IN-3 is a Herbicide. DXPS-IN-3 inhibits DXPS (Kd = 27.2 μM) and blocks the methylerythritol phosphate (MEP) pathway. DXPS-IN-3 induces plant bleaching and death via ROS accumulation, causing chlorophyll degradation and disrupting carotenoid biosynthesis. DXPS-IN-3 exhibits activity against Descurainia sophia and other dicot weeds, and can be used in research related to farmland weed control[1].
