    Calcium N5-methyltetrahydrofolate (NSC173328; 5-Methyl THF (calcium)), Levomefolic acid (HY-14781) derivative, is a folic acid supplement. Calcium N5-methyltetrahydrofolate can be used for the research of neural tube defects, infertility, non-hodgkin's lymphoma, endometriosis[1].

    In Vitro

    Calcium N5-methyltetrahydrofolate (Compound 5-MTHF) effectively bypasses folate insufficiency due to MTHFR deficiency in cells with low MTHFR activity[1].
    Calcium N5-methyltetrahydrofolate uptake by human umbilical vascular endothelial cells is inhibited by Folic acid (HY-16637)[1].
