Biological Activity: Arecaidine but-2-ynyl ester tosylate (ABET) is a selective mAChR M2 agonist that dose-dependently decreases mean arterial pressure and heart rate in rats. Arecaidine but-2-ynyl ester tosylate can be used for cardiovascular disease research[1][2]. Arecaidine but-2-ynyl ester (tosylate) is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
