CP-99994 reduces colorectal hypersensitivity induced by acetic acid injections in a model of bladder-colon cross-sensitization. CP-99994 hydrochloride attenuates the neuroglial interactions and MAPK-p38 phosphorylation associated with visceral hypersensitivity[1].
