Biological Activity: Ac4GlcNAcF3 is a cell-permeable glycomimetic that can be recognized and utilized by OGT and is resistant to hydrolysis by OGA. GlcNAcF3, the active metabolite of Ac4GlcNAcF3, can be recognized by OGT as a substrate for peptide modification. Ac4GlcNAcF3 upregulates the level of cellular O-GlcNAc modification. Ac4GlcNAcF3 can be used in studies related to glycosylation regulation[1].
