Biological Activity: CS-722 is a centrally acting muscle relaxant, and has a muscle relaxant activity and depressant effectson the spinal reflex[1]. CS-722 inhibits spontaneous inhibitory postsynaptic currents and excitatory postsynaptic currents in hippocampal cultures probably by an inhibition of both sodium and calcium currents[1][2].
