Biological Activity: DBCO-Cy3 (DBCO-Sulfo-Cy3) is the derivative of Cyanine3 fluorophore, a pH insensitive from pH (4-10) orange fluorescent dyewith excitation maximum 555 nm and emission maximum of 580nm. DBCO-Cy3 has fast reaction kinetics and good stability, and is productive to use in many standard fluorescent instrumentations. DBCO-Cy3 is a click chemistry reagent, it contains a DBCO group that can undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules containing Azide groups.
